have to remember though it's not necessarily about the power your pushing, these k03/s turbos are small very small and restrictive this serves to increase the egt drastically.
A larger turbo will allow exhaust gasses to be expelled quicker and preventing build up of egt. Think of it like this, a larger turbo requires less boost for it to make the same power a smaller turbo does.
It's common knowledge that these borg warner k03/s and even k04 runs very hot anyone who has ever seen a k04-02x will know how hot they run - it's extremely rare to find a k04 manifold or turbo that hasn't got substantial cracks.
Most members of my family are pushing big turbos and they never glows my cousin is running a gt35r ams kit pushing slightly over 600bhp but then he has a nice flowing AMS equal length stainless steel mani and gt35r, my brother has also just slapped on a gtx series turbo pushing about 750+ bhp at the wheels and that only glows because well its quite savage.
