Hi guys. Just wanted to introduce myself to you all. My name is Stevie and I live near Glasgow. Must have owned 50 GTi's between my brother and I. All Mk1 and 2 other than a blue 8v Mk3 for a few months.
Currently own between us a Mk3 VR6 in Twilight Violet, a Mk1 1.6Gti 5 speed (1981) and my Mk2 8v (1989).
The VR was bought as a £200 project so its lucky I know the guys at GSF in Glasgow!!!! It is currently MOTd but seems to need somethin every other week.
The Mk1 is currently living in the garage due to a dizzy blonde pulling out of a junction and hitting the front end. Have all new genuine panels bought at great cost from the dealer a good few years ago. Work and kids etc keep putting a stop to getting it back on the road.
The Mk2 is a bit special. Its just a standard 8v 3door in black but has a set of original BBS RA 14in wheels with the gold centres( super rare ). Best of all it is a ONE OWNER car with full VW service history(except the last stamp from local garage) and 79k on the clock.
