after having a first good look at the golf with my one good eye
it seems the pads n discs are shot! any advice on replacements???
eventually i will be going six pots on the front maybe r32 rear calipers on the rear, so for now just discs n pads to change

thats what im thinking, cheap as chips off flea bay, or pay a little xtra 90ish for mintex x drilled jobbies?

i dont think you would notice any difference in the rears , just for looks maybe

For rears go standard, as the back brakes don't do much work. Mintex discs are good but you won't benefit on the rears with them, plus remember drilled brakes are only for looks.

exactly my thoughts!! rears dont really do owt! but some pads n discs are only 20/30 quidd!! n ya get what ya pay for!!!

if your goin 6 pots up front then i would recommend at least the 4motion rear setup, too big a brake up front will cause an imbalance.
why you looking at bigger brake setups? what powers your engine putting out?
