Ulitmate Dubs 2011

Got to say i went to this today aswell with the missus and i was quite disappointed by it, especially after being queued for over an hour just to get to the centre. To be fair this was my first VAG show i've been too as i've been more to do with the french scene (i.e. french car show), but since getting my MK4 Golf GTI i haven't looked back, but i have to say the last french car show i went to was better than this.
I was hoping for a few more trade stands, and i know it was advertised to have an auto jumble, but i couldn't find it anywhere?!?
Don't think i'll be attending Ultimate Dubs next year if thats what its like to be fair, next show i'm looking to go for is Edition 38

Red mk2 with purple wheels and a purple roll cage with a passat, and a few mk3s.

I overtook you on the the M54 on the way back. Or I overtook an identical one 

Were we in convoy with a blue MK4, 2 MK3s and a Pissat? If so then yeah that was us.

Yep must have been you then. I noticed the wheels as purple's my favourite colour!

For the first show i've been to in the golf i thought it was ok.

Like other people have said would've been nice to have a jumble, it was meant to be where the 'for sale' section was but nobody turned up?

Was great seeing the sun come out and touring round the car parks though, some awesome examples!

Journey home wasn't as fun, crank bearings shot! 

You lot might have seen me, red mk2 gti, bbs rs rims, stopped just after the m6 toll! GUTTED!

I was a little dissapointed as well, as mentioned before, a lot of the cars in the car park were more worthy of an indoor place than some that were in there.

Our local club won 4 trophies  (although the only one that was VW was Ben's 20vt Scirocco  )
