The wire that goes on the back of the alternator to the "W" connection for my rev counter is hanging loose. Now the black plastic cover on the back of the alternator that has this "W" connection has broken off, and the wire inside it from the W connection has broken off the alternator. I have heard that it connects to one of the 3 red wires at the back, as its a 3 phase alternator? I need to know which of these 3 to reconnect it to, in case it damages my clocks by connecting it to the wrong one. Can anyone shed some light on this?
