Alarm...

i have a cobra goldline A5801 attached to my car and recently the fob has decided to give up, although i have tested the fob and it transmits a signal. does anyone know of a manual reset or have any ideas on a fix?
i also dont have the key to turn the alarm off which is abit annoying.

my mate just had a similar prob he got hold of a company who used to install these and chucked him a tenner to find problem as his car was off the road for about 2 weekd but he had wires crossing over dont know if tis helps
