Getting a 1.4 or 1.6fsi, wheel advise

Ok as above within next week or two, when I find the right car ill be getting either a 1.4 or 1.6 fsi and upgrading from my mk3, Im looking to do a GTI/R32 replica as i cannot afford the real deal haha, wanting to know what size alloys best suits the mk5? my guess is 18"?  :smiley:

make sure you tell insurance company, as ANY mod will invalidate insurance if you dont tell them!  they are conts these days!

Yes i know, im going with an insurer that likes mods unlike most so everything will be declared!

17's can look good if lowered, otherwise 18's look the business. Try and get the 1.6 fsi, it's superior to the 1.4 every single way, mpg included.
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

18"s are better on a mk5 and go for the 1.6

Got to be 18's.

Mine came wit 17 Monzas and I was so disappointed with them. Just dont look anywhere near as impressive as the 18s.

If you get LM reps, make sure you get 19's otherwise they will look sh!t. :lipsrsealed:
