Fuel Injector Issue

So I was driving home last Weds about 1/4 of a mile from home when the CEL lit up and the car started to judder. Managed to coax the car home and called VW roadside assistance who sent a van round and after looking at the car towed me to my local dealership. The initial VAG codes were saying fault on cylinder 4 but they have told me one of the injectors has gone and its possible damaged the turbo as well. They are going to fix the 1 faulty injector and do an oil/filter change then check the turbo and see if that needs replaced but before that they are charging me £110 to replace the spark plugs as that isn't covered under the warranty and they might have been damaged by the injector fault. I've queried the price as this seems a little high and as its the fuel injector which caused the problem should it be down to me to replace damage caused by another faulty part?
Has anyone else had an issue like this with their GTI? Should I be worried in case any of the other injectors go?

Any advice/tips appreciated

The car is an 09 plate with 38k on it and has had a full service history with no previous issues before this and i am still in the 12 months approved used warranty cover on the car.

Smell like bullsh1t to me. Never listen to main dealers. "Turbo might be damaged as well" means we will call you in 3-4 days and your turbo will need changing at this expense £***.**

Sounds more like it was just a coil pack that has died, which is a 10 min job and a £30 part.

£110 to change spark plugs...

I would request to see the damaged injector, the same with the Turbo if required. I presume the oil and filter change is a precautionary measure in case there is debris in the oil?

Dealers gain from warranty work, VW stumps up the cost for the covered parts so they are quids in for the work.
