After a long time i have mamaged to find the issue on my golf with the drivers side indicator staying on!!
the alarm sounder is right under the header tank and over the years it must have been dripping water into it and this is the issue! seems that its open circuit inside it sumwhere, when i remove the sounder the car dies/wont start, but indicator not stuck on! plug sounder back in the car starts but indicator stays on.
Does anyone have the original alarm sounder which they would sell, or know a way to take alarm system out of car but leaving the immobiliser still on??
