Knock knock
« on: 06 August 2012, 22:24 »
Evening all, wondering if you can help?

I have a 2008 gti with 67,000, it's amazing and never skips a beat. However, I'm occasionally getting a knock when I reverse from full lock and hit the brake. It's stating to become more apparent so think I shall take it to my friendly garage tomorrow.

It's appears to be coming from the near side front, wondering if the cv joint has worn? Any ideas?

Thanks

Thanks chaps.

I shall suggest them to the garage tomorrow. I had heard about the sub frame bolts actually when I first got the car. It would make sense.

Thanks again
