Summer car insurance
« on: 28 February 2005, 16:27 »
I need to find a summer car insurance policy, for about 5 or 6 months, for the cab. Trouble is, all my NCB's are tied into the Corraddos insurance, and I will be having to start a new policy.
Anyone got any ideas what companies are out there that specialize in this sort of policy?
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

firebond did my bmw 628csi for ?400 fully comp no garage or immobiliser requirement, car parked on road with an agreed value of ?2000 (needs some work) the excesses were very low too ?100 for both accident and theft.
pretty good i think as it has a 5000 mile cover and i am a student wich really bumps things up and it is not using my ncb(all my insurance policies for motorbikes and cars went up also lost other vehicle driver clauses)

i think for my golf they wanted about ?150-200, again same clauses excesses etc as above

both polcies were for a year so 6 months would be cheaper if they did it (probably best to just do a lower milage though and keep it insured all year, then if its stolen or damaged its covered)
