Mk1 rear lights
« on: 04 March 2005, 13:24 »
Whats the opinion of rear light changes on my blue cab?

AdamB's look awesome but i think thats down to the red colour of the car.

I thought maybe these would go better with the blue?

What does everyone think? I dont want any barry boy looks on my cab!

I stil say go for the crystal M3 style ones like Ads, too red for me those, but that's my opinion. Why not take a pic of the back of your car and then ask someone like topher (or do it yourself if you know how) to then do a photoshop of different lights on the back and see what you think looks best, kind of try before you buy sort of thing. If you want to know what I mean look at this thread that rob118 started in the ideas section and what he did to his. http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=18096.0

The reflectors are an MOT requirement, but it would take a pretty keen tester to spot they are missing. I didn't bother putting mine on.
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

I really dont like the all clear or all blue ones, wouldnt go with the look of the car.

I want something that will look more up to date but suit the car....
