German Mk3 goes UK...
« on: 25 February 2005, 18:24 »
Hi, I hope someone here can help me. I?ll move to Oxford within the next 6-8 weeks and want to take my Mk3 mith me. The car itself passed the german Mot (it?s called T?V here but does the same) without problems but has several modifications. My problem is, that I can?t get any Info about the rules and regulations for tuned cars in the UK. Here we have some general rules about the minimum distance to the ground and stuff like this. Is there something similar in the UK or where can I get detailed information like this? As I did all mods and maintainance for my mk2 and this mk3 myself I can tell you all details if you need any about the mods if this helps... Thanks for all answers in advance, and sorry for my "still too poor" english

^might help

i think things here are a lot more relaxed so if your car passes the TUV I would guess it would easily pass here :)

If that?s all :) Sounds just like our T?V testing here, just a little bit shorter...
