golf mk1 1.8t driveshafts

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170552253434&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_1156wt_905 brought these the other week , came to fit them with the standard threaded bolts which fit my o2a gearbox, but they do not fit through the actual inner cv joint , any ideas what i can do ?

measure your shfts to make sure they're `100mm, if they are it may be your box flanges are 108mm. if so, you can fit mk3 golf/corrado/passat 02a 100mm flanges :)

there are 2 types, 1 type is clipped in the other is held on with a bolt in the middle
