if it has a roof aerial also check the rubber seal at the base

Don't suppose you've got a part number for the rubber seal do you?

or you can do what i did when i got my clear rear lights that always let water in.
i put a silicone beed on both side of the gasket then fitted it to car wile silicone was wet.
has never leaked since

Talking about the aerial

Silicone will only do so much, some of the cheaper lamps let in water through the casings.

@ Dom, I don't think you can get the seal on its own, when I asked I was told it was only available with the base.

failing that - a healthy dose of gasket maker also works. (think black bath sealant)
You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.
