long time lurker looking to get a Gti

Hey guys iv been lurking on this forum for a long time but been stuck with my car for soo long, and iv finally had enough.

Im looking to get a Gti 2L /1.8 doesnt matter too much but pref a 16/20v

So i have 1 question :) can i get a nice mk4 for under £1500?
I live in hampshire btw if thats any relavance :)

Thanks guys hope to get me a gti soon :P

hi,m8... i'm new aswell and i've got mk4 2.0l and love it,but a bit slow really 1.8t might be a betta choice?? as for price i know i got a bargain but only paid 2k for my 52 plate :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
