Very nice write ups, i have just been reading through them.
Quite a few of us here are using winter tyres, there are quite a few old threads about our experiences and some discussions about them earlier this year. I think its one of those things once you have experienced the difference they make you won't be without them.
Im glad i had them on this morning when a couple of inches of fresh snow had fallen overnight and the roads had not been used/treated.
