Performance Air Filters

Hi guys, going to change the standard paper air filter for 'performance' filter from either K&N or VW Racing.

There's a big price difference between the two so would appreciate any advice or your experience

VWR Linky (£99.99)

K&N Linky (£42.78)

Again, expert advice is appreciated.

Save your money. You will get zero gains with one of these on an otherwise standard car.
Either get a full intake or keep your standard paper filter. Just make sure the paper filter is kept clean and replaced as soon as it becomes too dirty to clean (blow it though with an airline if you have one available or use a vacuum cleaner if you don't).

That's what I love about this place, you think you have a good idea, turns out you don't.

Thanks guys, just saved me £100, in effect the £100 worth of cleaning stuff i bought last week for the car is now free
