Ps3 slim more reliable?

Hi all just a quick wondering are ps3 slims more reliable than the original?

I just got one so I hope so  :grin:

It is a lot quieter than the original for sure though and apparently uses 30 odd percent less power according to sony.
On sony, certain samsung and a few other tv's it lets you control the system with the tv remote instead of the PS3 controller. On very graphically entensive games you will see better FPS aswell, but nothing you would notice really.

I've got a 250gb slim model and so far it's given me absolute no grief. None of the red or yellow lights of death or any overheating or discs getting stuck or anything. Had it for a year now.

i had my 60gb model since the first day they came out.... 3 yrs or so later its dead! :angry:
