Well i cudnt tell ya i know nothing about cars really. He had an inspection of pipes before it went on Diagnostic and checked coolant with this telescope thing lol

That just checks the condition of the anti-freeze.  Sounds like he got the car running and just checked the flow of water around the system

As long as you get it sorted it mate :afro:

Well whatever it is its getting fixed on tuesday. Cudnt believe it when he said £293.89 first time and i said right well leave it there im gona check around for prices then get back to u alright... "yeh no probs". Call back 30 mins later... Hi i got a price at 194 inc vat, "right well lets see if we can match that hold on please" ..... few secs later... "Yes Mr Beattie we can, that'll be £200 inc vat hows that?" ... Fab. Hahahaha. Its funny how they can adjust prices to whatever u make up :P Gotta try it sometime!

Well as im only a year into driving i havent found myself a good local garage yet lol. still waiting for something to go wrong on my car haha. This will be the first time since ive had it that its had to go get something done.

How about taking the stat out and actually feeling the pump? If it is the pump I'm very surprised you haven't overheated yet.
