leaky roof

just brought a mk1 golf cabriolet gti, had some heavy rain the past few days and found out the roof leaks,
has anyone get any ideas on the best way to seal it or stops this. it leaks from the front seal .I've adjusted the hooks but it still soaks my drivers seat badly     help

I think a lot of people with MK1 cabs suffer with it mate  :sad:

I had a new roof fitted about 2 years ago and it only leaks now if we have really bad weather. I know that the seals from VW are silly money  :shocked:

Mines pretty much leak free but I'm getting a new hood put on next week so I hope it's ok after that !  :undecided:

Don't gpcvwaudi.co.uk do a load of different seals, might be worth giving them a ring.  :smiley:
