Newbee from Plymouth
« on: 11 December 2010, 16:51 »
Hi all, signed up about a week ago and put in a few posts but still a newbee! Got myself a Mk3 GTI 8v about a month ago from ebay for 300 notes. Had no tax or MOT but a little weld, new ball joints and 120 quid later all ready to go. Its my new project and I cant stop! Came with JOM coilovers and a Scorpion Exhaust already on it, Service history every 10k (on 148k now) but is really clean apart from some very minor issues. Put in a PiperX panel filter, Wolfsburg chrome heater dials and door pins, Chrome inner door handles, and leather gaitors and scrubbed up pretty well. Toying with the idea of spraying my wheels now!

Yeah will do. At work using my phone so will do it tomorrow. It's not all blinged out with the chrome, just a few subtle mods to make the interior look a bit better than the standard complete black plastic drab!

Bonjour and welcome to our humble forum, make yourself at home and be sure to post as much random crap as you feel necessary in the off topic section and pick as many minds as you want in the other sections
