mk1 airbox conversion - are these rare?
« on: 09 February 2005, 09:34 »
basically it replaces the whole airbox - u just bolt on your fuel regulator to the top of it. supposedly allows you to run a cone filter and cold air ducting.

any thoughts on them??

I think that it is off a Volvo 240/740 with kjet, thought about using one before I went efi.

Is it just a case of bolt one of these on then?? do they have any performance gains? I would relly like something like this to help with tidying up my engine bay.

i have an induction kit underneath the metering head doing away with all of the box, performance gains on a standard engine are hardly noticeable, there is a rasp towards the higher revs thats about all.

Any 240/740 with kjet from the early to late 80's. Might be able to get some if anyone is interested, but will have to look into it.
