pop the handbrake trim off to check for sure, i guess if only 1 side had siezed it might feel ok? tho pretty sure mine felt floppy when just the 1 side had frozen.

best way to be sure is get under the car and look. if cable is tight on the caliper with handbrake off its the cable, if all floppy then its the caliper

yeah, mine was all floppy (ooh err) will have a look tomorrow and maybe get some new cables. i did the discs and pads all round a couple of months ago and was gonna change the cables too but decided not to. doh! it was fine this morning (cos i remembered to leave the handbrake off last night!) and the good news is it passed its mot with flying colours :grin: cheers for all the replys, sounds like its a common problem :wink:
