1984 mk2

Just been looking at different mods for a mk2 golf and a lot of them seem to be for mk2s from 1985-on is a 1984 model not as tuneable

What car and engine combination have you got?

Ok, but what MK2 have you got? 

I take it it's an 8v on Kjet.

no sorry its a 1984 mk2 diesel a mate wants to put a 20vt into it

Ok.  No difficulty, jsut use the the search function.

As long as you have a donor car for the 1.8t then you can splice the loom in etc..

There are plenty of threads and website kinks for How to guides on the 1.8 conversion.

cool thanks was just wondering cause alot of the collies etc i was looking at seem to be from 1985 on so i didnt no whether they would fit the 1984 model?
