can send ecu off to have it defeated, not sure who does it off the top of my head. a few part numbers for non-immob ecu if you find one ask away and we can check for you.
the alternative is to wire in an immob box, as long as you get a box and kley matched together you can code these to your ecu with vag-com. loom is simple, just needs an ign live and an earth, plus the diagnostics port needs permanent live and earth. then its wire from ecu to plug on immob box loom, and another wire from immob box to diagnostics port. hardest part is stripping the loom out of a mk3 as its all tucked inside the dash and is a right pain to get to
