somebody help me! windows,sunroof, interior light and key fob all stopped workig

i have a 1999 golf 1.8t btw and was driving along the other day and noticed my windows have just stopped opening which let to me finding the interior light doesnt work, the sunroof doesnt open and my keyfob no longer works? i checked all the fuses but nothing seems to be wrong, is this a common fault? does anyone know how to solve this? im a dirty smoker so its a bit of an anoyance for me :L

Just change the small mini blade fuse for the central convenience module (CCM). They can blow and you may not be able to see it on the fuse.

If that doesn't help I would suggest you have a faulty CCM. Common problem on the mk4.

As said try replacing fuse 14  in the fuse box 10amp blade fuse it might not look blown but for the sake of a couple of pence its worth replacing
