Tell you guys what, I have a spare PB cam ground down in the garage I will post it up over the weekend.
The bearing I ground down was still rock hard underneath, which leads me to believe it is through hardened.
Either that or the case is quite thick as I recall I had to grind approx 5mm off the od to match other bearing dims.
Could have sworn it was 4 caps but hey thats life.
As stated never rr'ed the car with the cam in but it is quicker than the average 8v, have got a few other tweaks so it may be the whole package as opposed to a Wonder cam
Car passed MOT fine last time around with no issues, lets see what happens next April although I think the Tin worm will be its coffin nail not the Mk2 cam
