Does anyone know if the radiator from a VR6 will fit the GTI 16V? ( know VR6 is a double fan and gti's a single)

The VR6 will have the outlets a bit lower down, and the bolt holes won't line up, you'll have to hack away a bit at the plastic cowling around the radiator. However the slam panel will hold it in place, so no need for bolts. I've got a VR6 rad cooling my 16v.

Been thinking of a VR rad on mine, So yours is just supported by the slam panel khare?
No other bodging needed?

So i'm guessing if you wanted the whole shabang you could just slap a VR front end on?

Yup, the hoses support it enough and the slam panel stops it from going out the front.

More cores? Better cooling? Maybe found one cheap?
