No I bought it before that (Aug) and it spent 3 months being painted, got it back in January...

I've had great fun getting it done, and finding all the bits & bobs - still love driving her, its amazing how many people stop and stare as I drive past!!! Or just stop and chat to you when I park her up!! (Not That I Leave Her Anywhere I Can't See Her!!)

Thought id update this with my findings after I fitted some new Eibach springs, and new top mounts the other week. Lemforder front top mounts from GSF were used, and febi/Bilstein rears from AVS. Both have the VW part numbers on them. So the car was raised a little, and now sits like this:

Ride comfort has improved slightly, and is a little less harsh. Ive not been for a spirited drive yet to determine any change in the handling department.

Get the front end all lined up properly before giving it too much.

I'd recommend -0.5 degrees of camber on the front to help turn-in.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Thanks DH, Its only been 'round the block' so far, and is getting the tracking reset today (hopefully). It seems to still have a good dose of negative camber, but this will be reset after the sub frame is off later this month.....
