Airbag Igniter - anyone had problems with them?
« on: 18 November 2010, 17:33 »
Per a previous post my airbag warning light among others are on. To resolve ross-tech suggests to examine the airbag igniter.
Has anyone examined one before or know how fragile or likely the thing is to blow up in my face?
If I'm against picketing, how do I show it?

As above, I wouldn't go near it.....unless you want this to happen to your face!

Whoah. Right well now i'm in two minds about exploring. But I hear that disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes disables it. That said my head will strongly be out of the way. At all times. Judgement permitting haha

I would still not be messing with it, if it is faulty then replace it.
