easy dubbers. my mk3 has has a few issue's i want get fixed. i have 2 mates who are mechanics and even there scratching there heads. i will describe my problems and if any one has had the the same problems or simirlar problems get in touch as its doing my head in now..

1st, about 2 months ago i had a car alarm fitted by a so called professional it was a toad cat one alarm and immobilizer cost £220. the guy who came to fit it said the wire on my car looked like it had been played with. (i never had a problem till the alarm thou) he fitted the alarm and over night it drained my bettery i called him up and he came back and said the alarm does use harldly any power so he checked the wireing again and rewired the iginition live wire and that seemed to do the trick it was fine for 2 weeks after that no probs. then i was out and went to my mates and on way to his my dash just started flashing my head unit went of and car just cut out while i was driving. i bort a new battery and fitted it and car start fine and off i went next day same happen again. had the alternater test was told it was that so got a brand new one that solved the problem again lol. 3 weeks on the problem started again draining 2 battery's in a day. alternator is fine and putting 13.4 charge back to battery... if any one knows what it could be. let me know.

2nd issue. car idling
right this started 2 weeks ago and i just though it would be a simple issue to fix. got my mate to do flush and drain oil from engine and put fresh top noch oil in. replace and spark plugs oil filter and had the air intake cleaned out with some de-carb spay. the car used to idle perfectly on 800 rpm even after all this it is still going nuts and fluctuates between 800/1300/400/1000 rpm any idea's dubbers

An alarm should not draw enough to drain a battery overnight, I suspect you have another issue.
