My alarm is really playing up on my car. It's a factory standard unit, with the rectangular key fob with two square buttons.
The button on the left sets and unsets the alarm, while the one on the right makes the alarm go off. For some reason the button to set/unset the alarm is fairly sporadic in its working. I thought it may be the battery, but it will not work for a day, then work the next day. It has been like this ever since I bought the car. The central locking itself works perfectly and when the button is working the alarm functions perfectly.
Anyone had this issue?? Is it a dodgy fob? If I need to get a new one is it a whole alarm?
