I assume the user is abroad?
Very tricky might be worth asking for some compensation first at least cost of a decent drink?
Its flattering that they thought you're picture was worth using.
Do you know the owners of the cars? As you could get a signed document saying you were the orignal picture taker and have there permission.
Confront them with that and see what they say?

I would defo look into what you can do as if they have used you work without permission get on um, if you still ahve the original that will have all the data showing when it was taken etc

I just dropped him a friendly email.

Basically told him he's in breach of copyright and that I can legally prove the image is mine. Remove it now or else....


Or else what I don't know though. It looks like they're just a fairly small spanish/mexican club, I think any sort of legal action would be pretty impossible 

I wouldn't mind so much if he'd just changed the colour or something. Don't particularly want their shoddy club being associated with DubGeneration which we've put a lot of effort into making a good legit organisation.
