Thats a kick in the balls :(
« on: 16 November 2010, 14:56 »
Just received an email from a civil structural engineering consultancy I dropped my CV off at a couple of weeks ago.
I was quite confident that I would at least get an interview for the position.

Hi Mike

Thank you for your recent letter and CV for the above post and please accept my apologies for the delay in replying to you.

Unfortunately I regret to inform you that your application at this time was unsuccessful.

Many thanks for your interest in our company, and we wish you the best of luck in your job search.

Kind regards

Julie

Looks like I am stuck in this dump longer than expected! Not many Structural cad technician positions avaible at the moment.  :undecided:
On the plus side I have received my application form to attend night school to study Personal training.

Ive had so many letters/emails like that that recently that ive considered writing one back along the lines of

'Thanks for your recent letter however due to a recent influx of rejection letters I am unable to accept it. Therefore, I will be in for work at 9am sharp on Monday morning.'

That would be funny.

At least they took the time to write back. I'm applied for loads and not heard anything at all from them.
 Keep trying!
