I raced one of these vts's and all the way through upto 3rd gear I was on his bumper. Damn thing got in my way. It gave me a shock though thought my 16valve would fly straight past it.

I struggled with one few months back, it started about 2 cars length infront, but only caught up when in 3rd, Got a 2.0l but was running mega lean! Will blow them away once my ms is all done

We started off at same time, He got about a cars length ahead, But then when i got it gowin in 3rd i sailed past him,

Glad you beat it mate!! I do have a little soft spot for the VTS, never driven one or even been in one but they have good reviews for a small car where handling is concerned. That said, GTi's handle fooking well for their age!
