As a quick fix until you may consider painting the panels i would give it a good go with touching it in. You can if careful load the scratch up with several layers using the touchup stick. Once you've built the layers up enough, get some very fine sand paper 1200-1500 and wet sand the scratch. Use some compound polish to remove any light scratches and polish to shine back up again. It won't be perfect but will be alot better than staring at a scratch. There's probably some good searches that would show the right way to do this.

Good tip, or if you've got some body colour already, just spray it into the cap an use a tiny brush.

As for those responsible, I have killed for less.
