Advertising work using your Vw gti???

Evening all

Has anyone ever made enquiries with companies to use your car for tv work or magazine articles adverts for cash, u know like the cars in say Heartbeat, which are privatly owned and they pay the owner to have them on the set????

Just a thought I was having......    Thanks
