Help with removing wooden trim
« on: 09 October 2010, 17:45 »
OK Im losing the wooden trim so far Ive managed to get the heater control surround off and the 2 side strips. I'm struggling on the drink holder cover and the ash tray and the door handles.

Does the centre console have to be removed to get at the ashtray cover?
Do I need to get behind the door cards to remove the handles?
How do you get the drink cover off?

For handles just lever them off there held in with clips they wont break..

Ashtray put your hand under the cover and then slide the top towards you..

Driver handle remove te piece of wood closest to the door than just pull the rest up.. Unclip and that's it..

What colour they going ??

Not sure what net optic is?

Im guessing its a type of carbon fibre? Im just sending the parts to jimboo. I think he's using a basic carbon vinyl.
