Leeds festival is more watercooled and u tend to get bored pretty quick, tatton is a great show tho with music, loads of stalls and generally a far better atmosphere, I will be at tatton showing the mk6 so come say hello, also if ur not from around cheshire I recommend going into knustford (2min away) and having a drink and some food there some great bars and food served wherever u go. Mugli (sp?) Is a great indian and there is the likes of gusto's and picalinos (sp?) Or a few good local pubs, if u stay late on visit the wine bar near the indian I mentioned as its full of some fine women, great live music and usually some tasty cars outside to look at. If anyone wants any more info on the show or local area just give me a pm. Happy to help :)

thats bull, there is a massive mix of water and air, the camp site the night befor is like a show on its own, really good vibe

Maxi moo-moo is the prefaired nick name for Maximilian, my 18 month old son,

Ha Ha I too have a "Maxi" but more of a maximus the great....leader of the roman army! he's now 5 so I suppose at 18 month you can get away with a maxi-moo lol!!!

Much much bigger than 2 years ago when I first took the Mk6. That time I parked near the House and it seemed to be the only Mk6 there. This year I was parked miles away. Turned up at 9.30 and wasn't even allowed to take the Mk2 in, even though I lied that I was entering it for the S&S. Maybe they just thought it was crap!!! The Mk6 was just dismissed as a "standard car" so both were parked up miles away and it was a long walk to the event.
Having said that I thought it was really good. Nice and chilled and loads more stalls than I remember last time. Some top metal about. Loads of campers (I so want one of them), good turn out by the Mk5 and R32 boys but didn't see any other Mk6s at all.

I agree the Leeds one isn't the biggest show but there's a nice atmosphere and the setting is lovely. We always take a picnic so as long as the weather's fine it's just a pleasant way to spend a Sunday.
I went two years ago and had the only Mk6 at the show so it generated quite a bit of interest. It won't this time, of course as there'll be plenty of others about. Maybe the Mk2 will be of more interest - there's not many totally original ones around anymore.
.............did you take the mk2?.There was a mint white mk2 on a j or k plate parked in the car park near me?.

Yes, I took both. Parked right next to the road on the left as you drove in.
