well, seeing as i was looking ebay and preparing myself for a 100 quid bill for front shocks, and then GSF popped up with 25 quid ones, im pretty tempted to spend the other 50 on some lowering springs, GSF have 40mm drop ones for about 40 quid...oh the temptation :D im getting all excited now! haha

Cheap coilovers are hit and miss, that kit will be ok for the money.

bit of an update...driving home from college today and the cars stupid pitching and wafting around like a jelly on ecstacy is getting beyond a bloody joke now  anyway, got home, and did another bounce test on both sides.

both sides were the same..down, up and settle in the middle....doesnt this indicate the strut is okay?

i may be way off the mark here, but if you look at the pics on the 1st page, you'll see that the drivers side is sitting far too high, so im just wondering, if its been like that for a while due to the top mounts being buggered, could it just be a case that the spring has maybe worn out a bit?

probably clutching at straws here to be honest, just a bit confused with the bounce test :(

Springs don't really wear, shocks do.

aww okay :( lol. i suppose i new set of struts wouldnt hurt, only 50 quid so its not the end of the world, and i was planning on putting lowering springs on anyway, so in any event the shocks need to come off, so may aswell replace. best get on to ebay for a set of those spring clamps.
