Dubsociety, I get about the same mileage from the same quantity, so sounds about right.

Yeah, thats good to know, because before I actually conducted this little test ... Ive been filling up all the time thinking damn my car drinks ... this way using the trip meter, I get an idea of how close I am to running out of fuel more accurately using the miles ive done so obviously drive accordingly to avoid visiting the petrol station.

Also useful to show mates that its f*ck!n expensive to go places so they actually contribute to fuel the b4st4rds lool

I get about 50 - 60 miles out of £10, generally economic driving, with the odd dash and sprint for fun. This is in a 16v.

I always get my mates to give me money if we go somewhere that isn't local, why should I pay for them to go somewhere?

I have a fuel card from work, but im not aloud to use it for the golf. Only our 2 year family wagon, grand scenic qualifies for the use of......

Damn shame my 2.0 16v does 39 - 40 on a motorway cruise at sensible speed, low 30's if i boot it a bit and 20's if i rag the arse of it.

oh what fun...
