not all gti cabrio's have gti on the logbook.
when i bought mine although it had a 1.8dx injection engine in it, it never said gti on the logbook although it was badged as one, so i knocked around ?200 off the price as it just said "golf cc convertible cabriolet".
i now know it is a gti as i have the original sales brocure and it clearly states its a gti but as it was a cc special edition this took precidence on the log book, not knowing this ment i got money off
