had polo's for years now i got myself a mk3 5 door gti 16v and loving it only thing im not loving is the steering wheel its like the rubber twists at the top of the wheel i dont know if this is a common fault anyway this brings me to my question i have a momo steering boss i believe its for a mk1 golf will this fit my p reg gti or do i need to buy a new boss

Welcome mate! Ive got a mk3 golf and the mrs has got a mk4 polo 16v. Think you will probably need a new boss but dont quote me on that.

thanks for the reply loving that when im driving around i get other golfs flash me or wave didnt think people did this anymore

looks like im gonna have to take the wheel off to have a look

Yeah man new boss as their different from the MK1's or you can go for the VR6 steering wheel which is leather stitched so won't twist around!

If yours is fitted with a airbag you will need a resistor to stop the warning light coming on.

A mk1 boss will not fit btw.

i keep hearing about this vagcom how hard is it to use ? what version do i need ? where do i get it ? and what obd lead do i need ? sorry for so many questions
