FLAT BATTERY KILLED MY MFA!! HELP ;)
« on: 25 August 2010, 15:00 »
Hi,

My Rivage has been fine with the MFA working on all functions bar engine temp I'll come onto that)

Recently the battery went flat as my Dad left the lamps on.

Since re-starting the car the MFA has shown 'P2 ' on the display - I would assume this is an error code??

How do I clear this???

Also which sensor provides the engine temp - as I might as well do this as well

Many thanks

pull dash fuse for 30 seconds

dash coolant temp sensor is single pin black one in the coolant flange with red/yel wire, oil temp is single pin one in oil filter housing with green/black wire

Hi when you say Dash fuse is there a master one?

Will this be in the fuse box and would you know the number?

Cheers

its on the fusebox, the fuse numbers are in my fusebox faq in the mk2 maintenance section, you need to look for the pre-90 MK2 CE1 fuse/relay layout diagram which is on page 2 :)
