as above looked everywhere, does anyone know if the clutch for early mark 2s is compatable for a 87 cab, gti engine? thanks

depends on the mk2 clutch basically. 1.8 8v mk2 clutch kits will fit, assuming your 87 gti is a 1.8 which im pretty certain it will be

yes its is but the splines are short on the new sachs clutch so not sure whether to risk it? although i do have a slightly longer flywheel,
