Aye, but there's more to handling than the Haldex though. The steering is not on a par with the R, the dampers, springs and the anti roll bars are different.

no. the golf r has the new version of the haldex system.

Someone else pointed out that the dash isn't an 'R' as the needles are red and R's are blue.

^ I noticed that and at 1.10 ish as he changes gear you see the steeringwheel has no controls on it and the dash and gear knob turn into a scirocco
