Showing its age in handling? Someone correct me if I'm wrong but does it not use the same Haldex system as the R?

Aye, but there's more to handling than the Haldex though. The steering is not on a par with the R, the dampers, springs and the anti roll bars are different.

no. the golf r has the new version of the haldex system.

I made a comment about this test on another VW forum. Some of them couldn't see this video but someone else found a better link. See is this one works for you FroGTI?

Someone else pointed out that the dash isn't an 'R' as the needles are red and R's are blue. :wink:

^ I noticed that and at 1.10 ish as he changes gear you see the steeringwheel has no controls on it and the dash and gear knob turn into a scirocco  :grin:
