I love Japan. Coming back to the UK after a holiday there is a complete culture shock as to how backward and disorganised we are. But, somehow, I love the UK more - just!
The UK is backwards and disorganised?  You want to come and work in Saudi even for a few days - then you'ill be BEGGING to go back to the UK which is paradise in comparison.

One of my many unfortunately unforgettable memories is of a Saudi man lifting his white robe and passing water in the middle of the street in a haunched position. I thought at that time he was passing oil and had struck lucky.

BTW: Hello to our fellow GTi owner in Tokyo and congratulations getting your new car today.
Sorry to have highjacked your thread a bit. All good fun.

The sun was blazing down (36C here at the moment) and the shadow blue metallic looked amazing glittering like a jewel!

No regrets about the colour at all - its very unusual that it looks so different depending on the weather in that its more flat blue when cloudy.
I know what you meen about the shadow blue colour i was washing mine yesterday. The sky was dull and cloudy, then suddenly the sun came beaming out and the way the car reflected the light and the paint sparkled just brought a huge smile to my face.  (very few colours ever have made me do that)

Everyone were i work has also comented on the colour, and love it.

I would wholeheartedly agree that Shadow Blue is the very best metallic colour, albeit the best colour!
It's cameleon nature is quite beguiling.
