What is it exactly is it
?? as i have just been told by VW that this is what's causing my Exhaust gas warning light to come on ?
I have been quoted around £400.00 to have this done.........

Have you tried turning your petrol cap for 3 clicks? That fixed my warning light today and I was told it was many different things, possibly might have mentioned this too at the garage.

Yeah i tried that before and the light went off,it since came back on so i took it in yesterday (although the light has gone off again)and was told about this potensiometer so it's back it the Stealers again today for it to be fixed.......
Was also told that i need new brake disks/pads all round aswell........

It's an '06. Disks and pads are a good thing to change. Just unlucky with the potentiometer. Keep on top of these little problems and you should get years out of the car.
