Just introducing myself as I've been reading the forums and general topics in the Mk5 section for over 2 months. I was an avid lover of the old Mk2's and had a very nice 8v British racing green big bumper model which sadly went pop when it was left in an ex's hands (lots of women don't bother to check the oil !).
Anyway after 10-11 years I'm now back in a GTI
after driving numerous boring company cars.
I'm now the prowd owner of a very nice MkV Tornado red Ed30 (after trading in my new mondeo ) with about 33k on the clock and a few extra's. I'll post some pic's at some point but for the moment I'm concentrating on getting some new rubber on there and getting the wheels refurbed as someone's managed to clip all 4 at some point !!
I'll be dropping in the MkV forum I'm sure :-)
